Last 2008 show, plus January tour dates with Whitechapel

Daysend will be playing their last show for 2008 on Saturday November 29 at the opening night of Sydney's newset metal club "The Apocolypse" at the Bald Faced Stag.
Come down and check out an awesome lineup with our mates Five Star Prison Cell and Our Last Enemy.

Also, Daysend will be playing 3 shows with american brutal machines Whitechapel, as they charge their way around australia in January.

Daysend's Long Weekend Oktoberfest Party and Carcass support!!!

It's an awesome Oktoberfest for Daysend! Firstly, they are heading up a Long Weekend Party at the Bald Faced Stag on Saturday 4th October along with Melbournian beerfest buds Black Like Vengeance, plus Buried In Verona and Beretta Justice. Then on 12 th October they have the great honour of supporting the legendary Carcass at The Metro Theatre in Sydney. What a month! After these shows Daysend will settle in to writing mode for their new album due for release next year, so come on down and have a shandy or 2!

Daysend will be supporting Florida's Trivium in their only Australian appearance at the Enmore Theatre on August 13.

It's been a cold winter for Daysend, having just returned from ripping it up in chilly, no, FREEZING New Zealand so they are packing the boardies and thongs (footwear that is) and heading north to sunny Queensland with good buds from Perth Dyscord. Friday Aug 1st they will be at at Brannigans Tavern, Gold Coast and Saturday Aug 2nd at QUT Gardens, Brisbane.

Daysend are set to head to New Zealand for the very first time at the beginning of July for two shows in Auckland and Wellington. The shows are:

July 4th - King's Arms Tavern, Central City Auckland
July 5th - Valve Bar, Wellington

Daysend's sophomore release The Warning has been voted the number 2 metal release of 2007 by JJJ's Full Metal Racket listeners behind Machine Head's The Blackening.
This makes the album the number 1 metal album from australian artist, and places the release ahead of international heavyweights such as Megadeth, Soilwork and Arch Enemy.
